FREE cloud sync using Dropbox
New iPhone apps have shown up offering free cloud sync via dropbox - all you need is a free dropbox account. If MLO could sync via dropbox it would be free and one less thing for us to worry about keeping up payments on!

Outline filtering
When our outline gets unbeareable, we need tools to be able to filter by context (useful when tracking other's responsabilities and wanting to bind those to a project)

Bring notes field to the next level
TaskCoach, free software, enables users to have multiple notes... I wonder why that is not available in MLO? I also wonder why no text formating is allowed (funny enough if you copy formated text into a note, it is displayed)

Integrate MLO more closely with OneNote or EverNote
A lot of people use Evernote or OneNote because they're much more than just text capture. Rather than try to recreate something like this, how about making it easier to use them from MLO.
Both have URL links to notes and notes can be fairly easily viewed as HTML. How about a way to create a new linked note from MLO or generate a task in MLO from a note (you can do this with OneNote: note->outlook task->MLO). They could be viewed in MLO (some features might be missing), then use a link to open the real app for editing… more

MindManager/FreeMind/Mindmeister integration
If you are in the mindmapping mood you already know what the benefits of mindmapping are... if you are not, let me ask you something? don't you get sick when reading an infinite list of unfulfiled commitments?
We need a propper integration with mindmanager

GUI for print templates
Right now the print templates are not very useful if you have not the knowledge or time to play with the parameters. I´m using MLO also for tracking tasks in several meetings, but the printouts are not very "readable" from my point of view. It will be much easier, if there will be GUI or an easier way to adjust them.

Due Date Based on Completion Date of Other Task + XX Days
I pulled up the first request from Dmitry_N rather than searching all of the MLO requests.
<quote>
Example:
Task1: Goods need to be shipped on 27 February.
Task2: Payment needs to be done within 90 days after goods have been
shipped. Now I have to set the date for Task 2 manually. It would be a dream come true if this could be done automatically!
</quote>This opens up the possibility of creating dynamic templates.

Add "delegate" function
Add the function to track delegated tasks, as does TodoMatrix. That way I do not forget those tasks.

Sync All Data (Outline, ToDo Views, Formatting, etc)
Allow options in preferences to sync not just outline data, but ToDo views data, auto-formatting, themes, etc. Every time I create new ToDo lists I have to recreate them on all machines.

To-Do Sidebar (OneNote-style)
When I work in MLO with my multi-monitor setup (only at home) I always
have MLO on the small screen for reference to what I am supposed to do
next. The problem in my workflow comes when I'm on my laptop as I have
to switch windows all the time. If possible I would love to have a
simple sidebar of tasks of the kind that OneNote offers.
The main feature would be that it steals x pixels of screen area to
the right (as some messengers also do) in order to always show the
task list of your choosing.53 votes -
Make an option to add recurence to Start date, not to Due date
According to GTD concept you should only specify the due date if this is really last day when the task can be done or it will be never done.
But the only chance to create a Recurrence task in MLO is to use Due date, because recurrence use Due date and can not use Start date.
I think that issue seriously limiting users to have recurrence tasks.
I think you should avoid setting Due dates for tasks wherever you can. MLO has good and adjustable priority and filtering settings to review all tasks without Due dates.

RIM PLAYBOOK - ported Android version
Release a ported android version for the playbook.
The OS of the playbook will receive an major ( and long expected )
update in february.
One of the new things will be that android application will be then
available.
Since RIM offers developer a special tool to convert ( with an minimum
of effort, they´re talking about minutes)
their apps into the RIM Android App World, i would like to request to
convert MLO to this.
I really would appreciate that, since i´m a proud MLO user for
years and still struggling that i couldn´t have it on my playbook… more50 votes -
Password protection of MLO files
This has been requested in the forum and I think is needed. Many times a task requires relevant data to be stored in the notes. I do not feel confident without at least a file level password with some level of encryption. I do not want the data completely open.
