Bring notes field to the next level
TaskCoach, free software, enables users to have multiple notes... I wonder why that is not available in MLO? I also wonder why no text formating is allowed (funny enough if you copy formated text into a note, it is displayed)

I am curious if this is a black sheep request. It has been around for 8+ years and has 526 votes. In fact I would burn all my votes on this if it would bring it to notice. I realize that you can't do everything and about resources and time. I like many things about MLO but the inability to do anything in notes except enter the most basic of text is frustrating. I was happy that cntrl D injects a date. Perhaps projects are simply too much for it and the Devs intent is a encompassing to do manager. A valid path but unfortunate since MLO appears to be that close. I have 99 screws and need 100. Links to files are not as effective and not searchable.
The only negative I've seen is a reply that talked of speed. Not being a programmer I don't know how difficult it would be to have the option to install the better note editor or not install it.
I don't know if I would recognize a comment by one of the Devs but I would appreciate some idea as to their intent. It is enough of an issue that I will have to begin my search again if there this option is never going to be on their to do list. Can a Dev please comment? -

Would also like to see the undo function in notes.

This should really be combined with this vote

Add this feature, please. Very basic feature for a productivity app in 2016.

I've just noticed that adding text format options was first suggested in year 2010. This a top5 task and this still has not been implemented. Although, it should not be something too complex considering how many more simple apps than MLO can do it.
Please add this feature!

Can we please add the 107 votes from the similar " Task Notes - rich text editing" voting to be sure this gets the attention it deserves?

Fontsize, Bold, underline, italic, colors, tables and images. Rtf?
And a better advanced search would make mlo perfect -

Yes, please. Or Markdown. Anything to add formatting.

Disappointing that RTF hasn't been implemented into MLO by now when I see it in a lot of software out there, especially in open source software and yet MO, a program I've paid for doesn't?!

This would allow me to obviate the need for OneNote in my personal toolbox - I currently use it to hold information (description, goals, purpose, successful outcomes) about my longer-term projects

Why do all this when you can just enable easy linking with Evernote, for example. If not, why not let us attach Microsoft documents?

Would be great to toggle showing a task's notes directly beneath it like it does in the iPhone app.

Allow the TAB key to function to indent new lines. Currently, the TAB key takes you to the Task Title field.

We need to be able to copy/paste rich text, html, email, with hyperlinks, images, etc. just as it is with evernote for example. This is the reason why I haven't moved from Evernote to MLO yet.

If you're interested specifically in rich-text editing vote here:
http://mlo.uservoice.com/forums/9235-general/suggestions/1479211-task-notes-rich-text-editingThe way this question is phrased now, it is unclear what it stands for.

I would really appreciate Text formatting in the notes section. I often copy text from word processor documents. The formatting is just lost iwhen copied to MLO.

Yeah, I have to admit there are quite a few other to do list software out there where you can do a lot more in the notes section. MLO is lacking quite a bit in this area IMO.

...but tabizing Notes would be nice ; )

i can imagine, that this could be tending to be a ressource-hungry feature...
