  1. when you have many contexts, you need to group them so you can quickly choose the context you are looking for vs. choosing from a single master list with no organization.

  3. Did you think about the possibility to integrate a small database in MLO for example for adress data or personal datas which are connected to a task and can be can exported to a list.

For example you create a new task. Than you have the chance to integrate serveral fields with informations. These informations are stored in a database which an exported for example to excel.

If someone has got a solution which exists today please let me know.

    Best regards

    Karl

  4. Example:
I ride the subway every morning and evening. In the morning I read a book. In the evening I listen to educational podcasts. So, I want to have a context "underground" open all day, the context of the "morning" open in the morning, and the context of "evening" open in the evening, assigned to appropriate tasks and prominent in the list of "To-Do" in the appropriate open time. Now, if the context of "underground" is open all day, the task is in the To-Do list all day, despite its other closed contexts.

  5. Most important is a Rapid Task Entry Widget (in addition a fairly customizable list widget should be there). Very appreciated would be dragging and droping a Task (into a folder or sth else) and keep the Properties as a Menu-Point for the Hardwarebutton (or customizable Behaviour in Settings with Touch Delays). Otherwise the MLO- Mainfeature (hierarchical Organization) isn't fully availible for Android, that would be a pity.
Another Thing is integration in Agenda Widget or other Stuff. Perhaps these Developers can be offered a little API for extracting list Information from the MLO Data.

The Design looks promising (i like…

  7. It would be great to have a drop down box to add min/max times to complete a task. When i am creating multiple tasks it can get cumbersome to type in times manually, plus, with the auto recognize feature, sometimes you have to re-type what you really want. It would be great to have a feature with a drop down box with standard choices ranging from 5min to 8 hours much like outlook's reminder feature.

  8. I was used to assign a red color to flag overdue appointments, blue to projects etc. At present, everything is presented with standard colours (grey background and black foreground).

Without colours, I find the user interface somehow dull and not to apt to signal properly overdue tasks

  10. I would appriciate to have kind of follow up function. Sometimes when assign a task I do not get a response at the first time and I need to imput a new task. I would be handy to have a function to allow me on a clict to close current task a add new one which would be allow to have the same title for example. All such tasks would be linked together so there could be a report to see the progress, timestamps etc.

  12. I love the flexibility of entering dates in MLO Win. Next week is cool. Day after tomorrow. in 3 hrs, etc. On BB we just get the date picker. Please port the interpretive dates to BB.

  13. Instead of the five recurrence choices offered in bbmlo 1.1 you want the complete variety and flexibility of recurrence that's supported on the desktop, or as close to it as possible

  14. When creating an injected task the only information carried forward is the email subject which is often not very informative. Please copy the email text into the notes page of the injected task.

  15. I use the rapid tasks feature for quick capture (Inbox - GTD style). However, it always inserts my entries at the bottom of the selected main list (folder or parent task). I would like to control if its inserted at the top of bottom. So basically controlling whether its a Last in/First out or Last in/last out

  16. Some formatting options are available directly in the sidebar; to reach others I hav to click "More" and go through three different tabs. Formatting tasks this way is (a) slow and (b) makes it hard to achieve consistency. Styles would be a nice addition: named sets of formatting properties that could be applied with one or two clicks.

  17. Quite often I add one-off sub-tasks to a repeating tasks which I do not want to recur when the recurring task is marked as done. eg I have a routine for closing the office which contains a list of sub-tasks which I do each time I close the office. However, I may want to add other tasks to this recurring task which are just one off things to remember that night. In this case, I would a) like to mark them as not to recur (or to mark the other tasks as to recur) and b) for the completed sub-task…

  18. In this view I can't view for which folder or project these tasks. I have many projects with repeating tasks. And when I see many tasks with one name and no info about parent it's confusing me.

  19. In MLO desktop I always work from the todo view by date and then by context. Please add it to Android as well. Filtering contexts one by one does not work in practice.

  20. When i want to focus on a task i press Control+R and get empty list
if there are no subtasks. But i would like to see the task i select
(with sub-tasks, if any). In case of project i would like to see the
project name too, as i have similar ones (they are created with one
template and sometimes it is difficult to guess what task i zoomed
    several minutes ago;) ).
So, summarizing, i would like to have Zoom with selected task in list
i.e. with one level up comparing to current behavior.
