1. Allow completion date to be quickly adjusted

   I like to be able to see the dates on which I actually completed tasks (part of the Pomodoro technique). At the moment, MLO always sets the completion date/time to the current date/time and it is quite difficult to adjust. I quite often find myself marking items complete several days after I have done them (if I have been very busy) and would like to have a mechanism (or mechanisms) for setting the completion date at the same time. For example, using the alternate complete mechanism (ctrl+click on complete pops up a menu of options which includes 'Set completion date'); having a general option (Set completion date to due date when an item is marked complete); providing a right click option on the Completion Date column in the same was as on the Start and Due dates; etc

2. Inheritance on all goals, not just week goals

   This feature is necessary for custom views that include all tasks for monthly or yearly goals. Currently, marking a task, folder, or project as a week goal also marks all sub-tasks. However, for month or week goals, only the task, folder, or project is marked, not the sub-tasks.

4. Copy all Columns, not just "Caption"

   Say for example:

   Check MLO Group @Computer Today

   When hitting Ctrl-C I would get all three and not just 'Check MLO Group'

   Don't know if it's difficult to implement but it's one of those neat little features.

6. Refine navigation for mobile users

   A few things would make navigation on the mobile platform easier:

   Create a 'view in outline' option within a task
   (Helpful for tasks opened via list views, widgets, etc)

   Allow notes to be edited and saved without additional clicks
   (Previous version of MLO Android allowed notes to be edited without pressing edit, and changes were saved just by pressing 'back arrow', which also navigated to note

   Allow easier navigation to sync
   (Particularly for users that heavily use widgets, the number of clicks to sync MLO is excessive.)

   I invite any other suggestions on how to make navigation to existing functionality easier on mobile platforms!

7. Allow views to have same name

   When I duplicate a group of views I have to tweak the names of each and remove the '(copy)' at the end.

   There's little horizontal space in the views pane to accommodate a full title description so I end up parsing anyway, yet have to worry about uniqueness as well.

   I realize forcing unique titles keeps the title in the view title bar distinct, but is there a way to display title as a hierarchical?, e.g.

   "View: Work \ Projects \ Completed"

   ...esp since the View title seems to always have plenty of un-used space.

8. MLO Andriod (v2): In move mode clicking and holding anywhere on line should allow the user to move a task

   Moving tasks is currently far too fiddly.

   Currently, if the user clicks and holds a task by touching the text area of a Task, some green menu items appear, but the item can not be moved up or down the list of tasks.

   I suggest what would be much more intuitive would be that if the user clicks and holds a task, and then whilst STILL holding the user starts dragging the Task up or down the screen, that the green menus should disappear and that the system should go into task move mode (much as if the user had dragged by clicking and holding onto the three horizontal lines).

   Note: If this was implemented, it would become possible to drag left and right (as well as up and down) so as to indent or outdent the task in the current list.

   To get clear, what I am trying to mimic is the equivalent of when we are using Windows MLO we can use Shift/Alt/ followed by a left or right arrow key to indent / outdent items in a list of tasks on the screen.

9. MLO Android: 'Pinching out' gesture (with user's fingers) should close (i.e. hide) the current list/project

   The idea here is that if you pinch together two (or more) tasks that are part of a list (or Project), that all 'peer' items in that list of tasks should immediately be closed.

   i.e. In functional terms this is equivalent to opening touching the reversed "L" icon, however the great advantage is that the user does not need to be so accurate with his/her gestures.

   This would make MLO Android feel faster, more easy-to-use & more slick. Improving the "slickness" of the user interface will help us long standing users demo MLO to our friends and will draw in more "mainstream" customers.

10. MLO Android: A "pull apart" gesture (with user's fingers) should insert a new task at that place

    To insert something into a list of tasks this should be possible by doing a "pull apart" action.

    i.e. When a user views tasks (e.g. in Outline view), if the user does a "pull apart" gesture with their finders, MLO should insert a task at that place.

11. Allow more than one Next Action within a Project (by use of a new field)

    At present MLO forces users to work in a strictly linear mode when using the Next Action views. i.e. it only shows ONE Next Action at a time for each project.

    However, according to GTD theory, if more than one Action on a Project is truly actionable right now then you should list them ALL as 'Next Actions'.

    So what I am calling for to have a new field called "Force Next" (or something similar) that will in effect "force" that Action to appear in the Next Actions view even if it is not the first Action in the list for the Project in question.

    This new field allow you to show ALL the actions that are actionable right for any given project when viewed through the Next Actions views.

    This would mean for example, that for a larger project that involves a larger number of taks, you are not constrained to just having the one Next Action, nor are you overwhelmed with seeing the whole queue of future Next Actions all at once.

    Anyone with me?

13. make shortcuts for toggle starred and toggle folder work in new window (F3)

    In the separate window (when you press F3) you can't toggle starred or toggle folder a task via the keyboard shortcuts.
