sync manually ordered todo lists
I love and am addicted to the manual sorting of the todo list. It would be really nice if you could synchronize this manual sort to the cloud, ideally back down to both the desktop and mobile versions.

MLO:BB email body => task notes
When creating an injected task the only information carried forward is the email subject which is often not very informative. Please copy the email text into the notes page of the injected task.

MLO:BB Minimize without Hangup
On Blackberry, "minimize" is done by hitting the "hangup" button which unfortunately also terminates the current voice call. Please provide a "minimize" entry in the hotkey/shortcut settings that would not hang up.

MLO:BB Text entry of dates/times on par with MLO:Win
I love the flexibility of entering dates in MLO Win. Next week is cool. Day after tomorrow. in 3 hrs, etc. On BB we just get the date picker. Please port the interpretive dates to BB.

MLO:BB Allow full usage of the Links in the Notes
Currently the BB gets a copy of the links in the notes but they are not active, nor can they be created on the BB. This feature would add this.

MLO:BB Better recurrance options
Instead of the five recurrence choices offered in bbmlo 1.1 you want the complete variety and flexibility of recurrence that's supported on the desktop, or as close to it as possible

*not* Calendar View
A vote here is a vote against calendar view functionality. Although a mockup exists, there's no evidence yet of any consensus on what needs to be built. Once the development resources engage on this functionality they will be committed to huge efforts to mollify the people who will believe that the wrong functionality was implemented.

Explain "why this task sorts way up/down here"
I spend too much time trying to figure out why some maybe/someday task showed up among my urgent priorities or why something I must do today is languishing at the bottom. Suggestion: Enhance Task Statistics to show every factor that goes into the sorting of tasks, show how they are weighted and combined. It would save a lot of trial-and-error.

Separate "project" task type
Since the behavior of a task is so different (and useful) when it becomes a project, it would be nice to have a separate "add project" item on both MLO menus and hotkeys.
This could simply be a new task with the "project" property enabled, and optionally define min-effort so that % complete entirely depends on subtask completion

Optional property defaults
Would like to option to optionally set different defaults on certain task properties (similar to Toodledo), e.g. "due date tomorrow" for all my new tasks.
Sure, you can create a template task with these settings, but this is an extra step every time a task/project is created.
Use case: to enable % complete for a project with subtasks, I currently need to manually set "Project" status to "In Process" and set the Effort to Min (to get 100% when all subtasks done).

Allow multiple locations for a context
Groceries, hardware shops, all sorts of locations that exist in multiple places but when you enter one as a context for your errands, you have to be near to that specific shop to have it show up as nearby. What is needed is a way to define multiple locations as hardware shops and be able to assign a context to an errand that catches all of them.

not only close task, but also "cancel or freeze", you don't finished it, but it is not more actual
When you have a task outofdate you must to take focus on other more importants, but you don't want to "close" the task as done, only to easily "hide" in right-click menu and to have available in another view.

Make an option to add recurence to Start date, not to Due date
According to GTD concept you should only specify the due date if this is really last day when the task can be done or it will be never done.
But the only chance to create a Recurrence task in MLO is to use Due date, because recurrence use Due date and can not use Start date.
I think that issue seriously limiting users to have recurrence tasks.
I think you should avoid setting Due dates for tasks wherever you can. MLO has good and adjustable priority and filtering settings to review all tasks without Due dates.

Calculate time-remaining for tree (remaining time min, max)
When you make an item a project, you get "time required for the project" min+max. When subtasks are completed, these numbers do not change.
(a) It would be useful to have total time remaining for the project. Halfway through a project, the total time is not really useful - the time remaining is (arguably) the only important statistic.
(b) It would be nice to be able to show these values for a group of tasks.
(c) It would be useful to have these fields appear in the column list.
Specifically, under the "effort" pane, add a calculated field "total time…

Inheritance on all goals, not just week goals
This feature is necessary for custom views that include all tasks for monthly or yearly goals. Currently, marking a task, folder, or project as a week goal also marks all sub-tasks. However, for month or week goals, only the task, folder, or project is marked, not the sub-tasks.

To-Do Sidebar (OneNote-style)
When I work in MLO with my multi-monitor setup (only at home) I always
have MLO on the small screen for reference to what I am supposed to do
next. The problem in my workflow comes when I'm on my laptop as I have
to switch windows all the time. If possible I would love to have a
simple sidebar of tasks of the kind that OneNote offers.
The main feature would be that it steals x pixels of screen area to
the right (as some messengers also do) in order to always show the
task list of your choosing.82 votes
