MLO on multiple divices
Hello,
I have MLO running on three devices, a Windows computer, an Android Phone, and an iPad. I bought the Windows version and I pay for cloud sync. However, I cannot use some of the features of my Windows based system as I am using the 'free' versions of the Android and iPhone. I really think you should have an option to use the full featured versions of the app devices if you're using paid versions of the windows (and paying for the sync). At the very least, you should get some kind of bundle deal.
Do you agree?

WiFi-based reminders
What about reminders, that start if connecting a specific WiFi?
I know from other apps, that it's possible for an app to get the name of the WiFi used at a time.
Many of my contexts have their own WiFi-networks - for example if I enter my home and connect the WiFi "Home" and I've set a WiFi-reminder to the context "Home", this reminder shows me the tasks.(The GPS-based location reminders seem not to work properly on my phone, but also if they did, this idea could be a useful alternative - GPS sucks battery down on most phones,…

In urgency and priority view columns, allow option to hide "normal" urgency/priority (i.e. show only exceptions)
Almost all of my tasks have normal importance and urgency. I only assign non-normal values when tasks are particularly important/unimportant or particularly urgent/non-urgent.
Because I use the importance and urgency this way, when I add the importance and urgency columns to views, I see big long columns of "normal", and the non-normal values get lost in the columns, even with the color formatting helping to call them out. My eye doesn't need to see all those "normal"s; only the non-normal values.
I would like to be able to set MLO so that these columns only show values when the value…

URL to Link My MLO Work Tasks To Popular Agile Management Systems
I would like to link MLO tasks to agile management systems I use at work using a URL. These have included RallyDev and Jira.
I double track them because:
* frequently they work tasks don't track the actual level of detail I need to succeed and work does not want more detail in there because that is not the practice of the organization.
* RallyDev tracks time details that MLO does not - and at one employer I need to keep fairly detailed tracking.3 votes -
Right Click Task => Archive
I would like to be able to archive individual completed tasks on-demand. Sometimes they contain important information, but clutter up my screens. Additionally, I want some completed tasks to stay in view while others get archived instead of deleted.

More Colors: for highlight any field and change font colors like was implemented for "Tasks"
With the same simple system implemented for "Tasks" that would allow us highlight also others fields. For example : Context, Urgency, Importance etc....Using a dedicated window, in this manner the general view/dashboard is not overburden; for example like now the window "Manage Contexts", "Manage Flags".

IFTTT and Zapier integration (API)
I can't believe I'm the first to post this request.
While I understand this is not a trivial request, it would be extremely useful for my personal workflow.

Better display resolution for Microsoft Surface and retina display devices.
I have a Surface Pro 4 and the program shows very pixelated and ugly. It would be nice if it was touch ready considering it also for the Mac version (when developed).

Allow for sub-contractors
I'm a fairly new user so this is either a "how best to" question or a suggestion, but I would like to be able to assign a task in a project to a 3rd party. For example in many projects you will want some tasks to be done by a plumber/electrician/accountant/lawyer etc which could be assigned some time to carry out while leaving you free for other work.

Edit Flags in Mobile App
Flags are very useful, but they currently can't be added / modified in (at least the Android) app.
That limits an otherwise great feature.
Please consider adding the ability to modify flags in the mobile app.
It seems like a (relatively) simple feature to implement with a high pay off in usefulness.
Thank you.-

google "note to self"
Google Now "note to self" integration. Several other task apps (including OneNote, Keep, Evernote, and others allow addition of items when speaking "note to self" to Google Now (or Google Assistant as it will be called.
It would be very helpful to allow for this in MLO as well.

Better Notes section
I would love to see Notes section to gain Markdown compatibility or Rich Text formatting option. Plain text is really too...plain for longer notes or when logging activities related to a specific task.
For example, it would be nice if date/time stamp (F4) was automatically formatted in bold font with different colour (e.g. dark blue),
Also, it would be great if we could embed links to files, OneNote pages, etc. in a graceful manner within Notes. So that the link name would automatically use File Name or page title from OneNote with the actual path hidden from view. Markdown formatting…

Resource tasks and auto accumulating counter triggers
2) my next requests are Resource task and Auto accumulating counter triggers
One thing I really like about that project management app is the idea of resources. So like dependant tasks, some tasks can't be started without the necessary resources to start them.
Got the resource (eg. Part x arrived in the mail), show the list of tasks that you couldn't start until the part or resource arrived.
Now What if you allowed the user to create and name 1 or more number variable(s) as part of a task or a resource task that would accumulate to a target amount…

Ability to use this app as a flowchart
So this app already has task dependency. That's great
In a flowchart you can't really start something until the thing that it was dependent on has been completed
So why not give the user the ability to navigate through the tasks as if it was always there.Eg. Let's say you complete 5 tasks in order and when the fifth task is completed it could navigate you back to particular task you decide. Since it's a flowchart that task would have to be completed so it would have its checkbox reset.
Would be nice if you could make a decision…

Create choices
Let's say I knew I wanted to exercise but I always put it off. What if there was a choice task. Appears like a normal task. One task might be: do nothing. Another might be go for run for 1 hour. Another might be go for run for 2 hours.
Now if we could see that 2 hours would give us way more benefits then I believe we would choose option 3 over the other choices.
So originally appears 3 choices, I select one. I'm presented with a new task that dependant on me selecting that option. Now the previous…

Allow duplication task and subtasks in mobile
Manually creating a new task or project is more challenging on mobile platforms, why not allow users to duplicate a task and its subtasks?
This is very powerful for project creation!
Thank you!

Android: Show path for the tasks, IF current view is not hierarchical
Yes, you can show project, but this doesn't work for this case:
- Appliances <- project
-- Fridge
--- buy
--- install
-- dishwasher
--- buy
--- installThis is what I see in todo:
- buy (appliances)
- buy (appliances)
- install (appliances)
- install (appliances)Opening task details for such a basic info, feels annoying
On the other hand, seeing project in every task when you have it already opened doesn't make much sense too. I'd suggest to make it different for hierarchical and non-hierarchical views.

Context location enhancement detected by Bluetooth connection-so tasks popup when you enter your car (phone is connected to car's Bluetooth)
Example scenario:
I want that tasks with @Calls context will be popup when I get into my car.
Since my phone is connected to my car speaker using bluetooth, I want that this connection will trigger context location (same as NearBy feature is working with GPS map coordination)3 votes
