Allow recurring task dates to be changed in the same way as non recurring tasks
Once a recurring task becomes due, I very often want to adjust the due date to suit my plans for the next few hours/days. At the moment, the only way to do this is to bring up the cumbersome Recurring Tasks dialog box. I would like to be able to just hit Alt+D to jump to the Due Date dialog box and to then be able to type '2hrs' or 'Fri' or whatever to change the time to a more convient slot.

Yes! It would be greatly appreciated if we were able to use all the various right-click shortcuts for dates (eg, Next Day, in 4 days, etc.).
It does appear that clicking the Due Date column does take you to the Task Recurrence dialog box, but this doesn't work for the Start Date column (and many users would like the option for Start-Date-only recurring tasks: https://mlo.uservoice.com/forums/9235-general/suggestions/1122791-make-an-option-to-add-recurence-to-start-date-not ). Also it appears that Alt+D now does open the Task Recurrence dialog box, which is appreciated.
But again, it would be fantastic to be able to utilize the menu shortcuts. I have a number of recurring tasks for which I often want to shift them to the next day, a week or two later, etc. And right now it is a bit cumbersome to do that (and definitely no way to do it en masse the way one can with regular tasks, by selecting multiple and then selecting something like "Next Day" for one of them while all are highlighted).
Thanks!

I need ability to set some recurring tasks per period (As an example: every week in every winter).

I propose the following (10x Lisa):
– provide the "next day" buttons for recurring tasks also
– do not gray out the dates for recurring tasks
– when the user changes the date of her recurring task, ask the user if they would like to apply this change only to the first instance or to all future instances.- Only this instance: MLO creates a nonrecurring copy, changes the date of the copy, and causes the original task to go to the next recurrence. In your example, the copy would be moved to the next day, and the original would be moved to next week.
– All future instances: the recurrence pattern would be changed. The user should be warned of the new recurrence pattern, just like on Android.

At the least, if the recurring dialog box is indispensable, let clicking due date column or Alt+D bring one straight to the due date input in the recurring dialog box. It would be nice if that handled input parsing, like 2hrs or Fri.
Even better, add recurrence window elements to timing and reminder and/or in its own collapsible element, using the same due date & start date with their input parsing. That way, there's no dialog box at all.
