Run MLO automatically when Windows starts
Please add an option to run MLO automatically when Windows starts. It would seem like an essential feature for this sort of software. It would also remind the customers to use it!

If someone got this to actually work so MLO runs in the system tray, please post the method. This should be a configurable preference in the application anyway.

Hmmm..
I added an MLO shortcut to the Startup folder in my XP computer. I selected 'Run - Minimized' but this is not exactly what I want.
MLO appears minimized sure enough, but takes up valuable space on the bottom task bar until I manually maximize it then close it to the System Tray.
I want MLO to be in the System Tray [far right] when I start up the computer. I want the Rapid Task Entry dialog to be permanently available upon the typing of its keyboard shortcut.
Is *this* possible?

And add the option to "start minimized".
I added MLO to the startup folder, Windows, but it starts maximized and it is annoying to minimize it every time.

Thank you both. I did manage to figure it out in the end. My life just got more organised!

@MR_YEH the startup folder is different than the quick launch bar, so adding things to it will not crowd your Quick Launch bar. Just google Startup Folder in Windows XP and you will find heaps of things written about how to use it. While I wish there was an option builtin to MLO, there is an adequate workaround.

Not sure exactly where it is, but there's a startup folder in Programs or maybe accessories. If you put a shortcut to MLO.exe there it will open when windows starts. You can specify if it should open full screen or minimized.

Thanks. I have Windows XP, so I assume you are talking about the Quick Launch bar? For now that's what I have done but it now crowds out other software that I want to be visible there. It would be just so much more convenient if it had the option to start automatically, like Skype or Ultra Recall. Since being organised and using software like this is so much about discipline, it would just help reinforce the need to use it, as I's see it every morning when I turn on the computer. I had bought MLO ages ago and liked it but kept forgetting to use it. I'd imagine it would be in the interest of the company to help the customers not to forget to use the product...

A easy work-around is to add a short-cut to MLO.exe to your Startup Folder
