I'm looking for an outliner, TDList, TaskMtg, R&D Analysis Logs for use by engineers, scientists and general programmer geeks.
Am currently experimenting with Workflowy (initially just as a bootstrap approach - while I look for building upon some open-source toolkits/libraries) and may
try Checkvist (mainly because it kind-of-sort-of promises automation - I'll see I'm a
Unix weenie; will throw git, grep, cron, rsync, curl/wget, json, gnuplot, mongodb at least to start with ;)Alas MLO is a non starter unless I can use it from my Mac OS X desk-top - that does not
exclude running a linux version under the Mac unix CLI (aka 'terminal'). Actually CLI, command-line interface commands, would go a long way in satisfying my automation requirements. Please let me know when MLO has a Mac OS X Beta (or alpha?). I would consider a license model if, at the very least, I can be sure of owning all of my data with no lost of resolution, i.e. retain ALL metadata, when I export it from MLO.
Thanks!

MLO looks good - more structured than Evernote Premium for GTD. Lack of OSX support is a showstopper - cannot integrated it into my life without Macbook support!

I start using OmniFocus, it is good. I miss some thing from MLO, but OF is also great concept!

Please make a Mac version! I was a lifelong PC user, but made the switch five years ago and have never looked back.

Please! I'd like to create a custom Recurrence, and I can't seem to do it on the IOS versions. Looks like if I could use the desktop version on my MAC I could do it!

Totally agree. I have 2 licenses for 2 separate computers; both on OSX. I am now considering using another software as things such as Evernote and other IOS software makes GTD so much easier to manage these days.

I have been using MLO on my Mac using Parallels and a Win 7 OS. I only have 2 programs Quicken and MLO I use on this system. There is a lot of effort and expense to maintain this system for only 2 programs. I am converting to Quicken for Mac which only leaves MLO on this system. I obviously would love to have MLO for the Mac. I also love supporting Andrey and his company as he has done a great job creating and maintaining MLO. But, I may have find another product native to the Mac. Keep us informed.
BTW, have you guys done a poll to find out how many folks are using MLO on a Mac and how many are planning to go from Win to Mac within the next several months?

I have been using MLO for two years now on Windows PC's. It is the perfect GTD application. With the fiasco called Windows 8.1, I decided to migrate to a Mac. I am a new Mac user and have ordered but have not installed VMWare Fusion. I ordered it just so I could continue to use MLO. A Mac version of MLO would be much better. Thanks for considering it.

Definitely it is needed a Mac OS version, which will bring more venues and streams of profits for the company.
Me I'm using Mac at home, at work Win, on daily activities whem I'm out, my android phone and while in vacation (as I'm now) I'm using iPad - for portability and convenience when not at home for sometime.
Now, the portable devices are good for checking the tasks while on the move and doing your errands and stuff, but the real horse power and the main "thinking tool" is the desktop.
I mean for elaborating the goals, the projects and everything of higher thinking level, for which you will do in the quiet and confort of your home. Ah that, and an ability to type, on a proper keyboard...
For sure you can add a task on the phone but defining complex issues require many taps and intricate menu usage, so, definitely is just an execution tasks following recorder.
But as my main machine for overall my goals, plans is the Mac, we definitely need a native app.
I started to use Simplenote cloud/Simplenote IOS/Flick Note (droid)/Resoph Notes (win) and that's being the first cross platform powerfull system I ever used. I'm still wondering about the power that it is giving me, having all my notes being accessible from whatever platform/device am at that time. Powerful!
So Mac version is the way to go, plus could be useful a web version that could be used with the cloud service (maybe just some reduced functionality only for inputing or checking tasks) as Toodledo has (but w/o the power that in house apps MyLifeOrganized has!)
But definitely useful to have when you are in an enviroment where you are not working on your computers and somewhat you have not your phone/tablet functional with you.
I'm thinking at a laboratory at school, or at a library, or just you end up in a store where you can use their computer connected at internet to retrieve some list of stuff to buy from their store, in which you end up unexpectedly and your phone is dead.
So we all want to hear a declaration in that sense from your company, that you will release
