Real attach files features (embed)
I suggest adding a REAL attach files function.
It seems the "attach link" feature (Ctrl+Alt+F) suffices for most. But with all the new avenues to view the task list (portable, iPhone, etc) the linked files dont go along for the ride. I am a scientist and would love to be able to create a "Read This" task and drop an article's pdf in. I just cant make the switch from Outlook complete until I can bring the tasks files with me.
To keep the main *.ml file compact maybe create an ml "storage" file. Use zip or something to have it handle all the archive indexing and use a uuid stored in the task database to provde a unique reference the file (and filename).

More link possibilites wanted!
I like to use my MLO-Android phone and tablet software (and all others i guess), to be able to connect/link to external data like a photo, recording, website or document in an easy way? Then I also want to be able a to reach these linked things from my desktop.
And I want to do this without having to use another software like Evernote etc., (which I have tried and it works, except I don´t have the photos, doc.etc. localy, as I want.) MLO will reach a lot higher than most organizing software if they manae to create those links!. -

This could be implemented in the following way:
When dropping a file from Windows Explore over the task's Attachment tab panel the following happens:
1. Local attachments storage:
a) MLO automatically copies the dropped file into the \user\mlo\localstorage directory and adds a link to this file, or:
b) MLO just adds a link to the dropped file, but leaves it in its original location.
2. Internet storage: MLO automatically uploads the dropped file to a custom predefined Dropbox/FTP/Cloud storage and adds the URL to this file to the task's attachment tab panel. So, when I later open this task in MLO for iPad I just have to click the URL in the task's attachment pane to open it (e.g. PDF document) on the iPad. This would be very convenient, quick and simple!
