  1. For those who find it difficult or even impossible to install or update mlo on work computers, it'd be great to have even a light version of mlo available on the web.

  2. There are some interface elements that would be great to hide. Some are:

    • I only use the "Outline" view. I would love to reclaim that space by hiding the tab for "Outline" since its the only one.

Also a better arrangement must exist for the "Task To-Do Visiblity". I would love to use context more but I always have the "General" options minimized because of the big waste of space to the left of "Task To-Do Visibility". Maybe move Context and Urgency/Priority to their own panel section and leave "General" for details truly related to MyLifeOrganized

  3. Other application in iOS do this, it would be really helpful in moving items into the MLO Inbox. Have MLO for iOS have a setting to automatically pull Apple Reminders (the iOS SDK supports this) from a specific List into the MLO Inbox when MLO starts.

  9. Handling projects means dealing with several people.
From meeting to meeting I have different people to talk to.
    And teams change.
And tasks have quickly changing persons to talk to.

How can I – with a few clicks only – get an overview of the open projects and actions related to selected persons?
How can I – with even less clicks – change the list of related people per task and project?

    This is my proposal:

    1. Add the possibility to enter persons.
    2. Make these persons available for EVERY project or taks.
    3. Make it possible to display them in the Outline…

  10. The Barnes and Noble NOOK tablet runs a customized version of Android 2.3, and does not allow users to obtain apps outside of the BN App Store. 8-(

The relative good news is that they do have a Developer program with an SDK and all the usual stuff. Info at http://bn.com/NOOKdeveloper

I have no idea how much effort would be required, but it would be marvelous to have this.

  12. WE all create tasks on the fly in the INBOX and not IN a particular project or folder. However, moving tasks to the proper project or folder is slow and cumbersome. I suggest having a folder/project popup field, similar to the context where you can quickly select the folder/project that you want to file it under. This way you can quickly create each todo, assign it to the appropriate place right from the inbox. Instead of searching through all your projects to file it correctly

  13. Currently, when navigating the tree outline (or any other view I think), pressing an alphanumeric character starts you 'cycling' through all tasks that start with that character. BUT it starts this cycle from the very TOP of the tree.

If a user already has a task selected (somewhere half way down the tree structure) and can see a number of subtasks (and even sub-subtasks) in the following lines below the current position, it would be great if they can jump to one of them in one go, by simply pressing the initial letter of that task description.

    This, combined with…

  14. Say I have a task starting 17:00. It's 16:59. The task isn't showing. I wait 2 minutes. It's now 17:01. The task doesn't show on the screen until I hit F5 or switch views or add another task.

    This is really annoying.

I want the MLO window to automatically refresh on 17:00 and show the new task.

This can be done without refreshing every second. MLO should take the set of all future tasks, check the closest start time, and set a timer to refresh the view at that specific time.

  15. When syncing to Outlook, it should be possible to sync Project name and other variables to the Clear Context UserFields. This would be exactly the same as what is already done for the GTD addin, it would just be using the same code/interface to sync up with an additional set of fields. This would vastly improve integration, and allow users to take advantage of CC for email management, while maintaining the connection between tasks and MLO.

  16. Have an MLO Widget that shows up in the Today view.

An example of an iOS task management app that does this well is 2DO.

  17. So this app already has task dependency. That's great
In a flowchart you can't really start something until the thing that it was dependent on has been completed
So why not give the user the ability to navigate through the tasks as if it was always there.

Eg. Let's say you complete 5 tasks in order and when the fifth task is completed it could navigate you back to particular task you decide. Since it's a flowchart that task would have to be completed so it would have its checkbox reset.

Would be nice if you could make a decision…

  18. Why use a third party app to log habits (Strides, Way Of Life, Habitica etc..)
Learn from them and implement this feature and connect it to reoccurring habits.
i.e.: completing successfully or unsuccessfully 'Gym Training' due on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday will be logged and you will be able to see your strikes, best chain success, and other information like in the app 'WayOfLife'

This feature is great for motivation, rewarding yourself, and for building habits.
