Dwight, you are correct. It should be simple enough to add the ability to link to HTML addresses or OS paths, including links to entire Office documents. Those who do not mind exposing their Evernote note can link to an HTML version, although I am not sure if Android will open it in a browser or the app. For those of us who rely on the extensive UIs offered by the Windows versions of MLO and Evernote, can use the other method.

Creating MLO notes from Evernote sounds like a different set of functionality, and all I am saying, is that as step one, perhaps we can get at least the one way linking. I would even settle for copy and paste linking, as long as I could quickly get from one to another once the MLO task and the Evernote note are created and linked.

As a quick solution, please make Evernote links (in Windows, not HTML) be clickable from the Notes section of an MLO task. Currently (ver 4.2.2) the link must be copied and ran from the Run command in widows, which will open the Evernote application and display the note. Alternatively, part of the link can be copied into the Evernote application directly. Example: evernote:///view/9885544/s55/6e55cbef-555c-555b-555a-f5fabbcd5555/5e55cbef-555c-555b-555a-f5fabbcd5555/

Why do all this when you can just enable easy linking with Evernote, for example. If not, why not let us attach Microsoft documents?
