  1. Sometimes a task is added but never completed because it becomes irrelevant, or was an incorrect idea to begin with, etc. Deleting such tasks will leave no record of them; marking them as "completed" would falsify the data. It would be great to be able to mark tasks as "canceled" or "rejected" (or choose yor own, more precise term). In the UI, such tasks should porobably be treated as completed taskls, e.g. when hiding/filtering, etc.
(I use MLO to track planned features and bugs in Delphi software I write. Preserving the "rejected ideas" would be very useful in this context),

  2. My
workflow with the desktop version involves me tagging current, active
tasks with a due date and then I have a view that sorts them by Due
Date. Unfortunately I cannot do this on the iPod Touch. While there
is a function for sorting by due date when in Outline view there is
not the same functionality in the To-Do views. I really need to have
    this under Active Actions ideally.
Or if this is not practical I would like to please request that a view
be added under More Views that shows Active Actions sorted by Due Date
    with…

  3. Currently, MLO supports context inheritance when new tasks are added or tasks are moved to a new parent. However, if you change the contexts of a parent, the child contexts do not automatically change. I would like to have this as an option. Child tasks could still be assigned additional contexts, but if you add or delete a context from a parent tasks, there should be an option to automatically add/delete that context from its child tasks.

Additionally, I would like to have an option for implicit context inheritance. With this option, if a task is assigned a context, then…

  4. At the moment I do this manually after every sync: don't want to see anyone else to see my tasks (employees planning etc.), even if the can see my calendar

  5. When dragging an email to MLO, a new task is created along with the a link to the original email. This is not practical as many people tend to move their emails and hence the email links created are invalid. A good idea is to have the actual email attached. This can be done either by embedding the actual email in the .ml file or by creating a separate folder for attachments. This folder would contain .msg files and the notes field would have links to the actual files.

  7. Please add an option to run MLO automatically when Windows starts. It would seem like an essential feature for this sort of software. It would also remind the customers to use it!

  8. When you have a task outofdate you must to take focus on other more importants, but you don't want to "close" the task as done, only to easily "hide" in right-click menu and to have available in another view.

  9. I need to see - what current task now in progress. Please add popup card, that will be over all windows with current next action task.

Just a name of task, task notes and two buttons: checkbox 'completed' and 'open task in MLO'.

  10. In 90% cases I open task to add/edit its notes. I struggle to every time scroll down to the bottom of edit task screen for that.

Would be great to streamline UI to better accommodate a scenario like mine.

  11. I have one gripe with the Android UI of MLO which may be related to my way of working in which I use MLO in a sort of closed-list approach: I tend to plan which tasks I want/need to do on a per day basis. To do so, I have to edit the start and due date of tasks quite frequently and currently this is a cumbersome process that in my view takes way too many clicks/taps than necessary.

For instance, I call up my due next 7 days view and see that a couple of tasks need to be…

  13. I saw this feature in producteev. With each e-mail there is a button "Add task" which adds the e-mail to producteev as a task. As a heavy gmail user, I would be happy to see it in my browser.

  14. At the moment the calculated score presumes a task with no due date could be due right now and so gives it the highest score. I, and so I'm guessing maybe others, use no due date to mean it could be done whenever, which means it should be lower in priority than something due tomorrow. Could we please have an option to treat no due date in this way?

  15. Groceries, hardware shops, all sorts of locations that exist in multiple places but when you enter one as a context for your errands, you have to be near to that specific shop to have it show up as nearby. What is needed is a way to define multiple locations as hardware shops and be able to assign a context to an errand that catches all of them.

  17. I was used to assign a red color to flag overdue appointments, blue to projects etc. At present, everything is presented with standard colours (grey background and black foreground).

Without colours, I find the user interface somehow dull and not to apt to signal properly overdue tasks

  18. as in the window and the PPC versions, I would like to have the possibility to encode the parent project's name in the task view. very useful to manage long task lists in context view.

  19. It would be great to have a drop down box to add min/max times to complete a task. When i am creating multiple tasks it can get cumbersome to type in times manually, plus, with the auto recognize feature, sometimes you have to re-type what you really want. It would be great to have a feature with a drop down box with standard choices ranging from 5min to 8 hours much like outlook's reminder feature.

  20. this should be fairly easy. instead of having to create folder and then move it let the user create subfolder directly from context menu/ shortcut
