Android: Show path for the tasks, IF current view is not hierarchical
Yes, you can show project, but this doesn't work for this case:
- Appliances <- project
-- Fridge
--- buy
--- install
-- dishwasher
--- buy
--- install
This is what I see in todo:
- buy (appliances)
- buy (appliances)
- install (appliances)
- install (appliances)
Opening task details for such a basic info, feels annoying
On the other hand, seeing project in every task when you have it already opened doesn't make much sense too. I'd suggest to make it different for hierarchical and non-hierarchical views.

It would be more functional if some kind of marker could be attached to the level in the hierarchy that needs to appear in the task when in flat view. So, in the example above the level "fridge" could be marked so that the tasks "buy" and "install" now read "buy:fridge" and Install;fridge" which is the desired end goal.
