Support creating rules for auto-setting task properties
When creating tasks the thing that slows me down the most is setting its properties (contexts, due date, etc). I would guess on average I'd be creating most tasks twice as fast, if there was a way to auto set properties.
For example, I leave an urgent message for a colleague. I need a question to be answered today. The task I'd probably create would have the subject, "Urgent: WaitingFor colleague's answer to question". I'd then set the context to @WaitingFor and the due date to today.
If, when the task was saved, the due date was set based on the subject containing "urgent" and the @WaitingFor context was added because the subject contained "WaitingFor", I'd shave a few seconds off the task creation time. This would mount into considerable savings pretty quickly.
The MLO windows client already contains a great rules based system for auto formatting. I think that applying the same system to setting properties would make for a very powerful feature.
