  6. I know about http://mlo.uservoice.com/forums/9235-general/suggestions/1048413-allow-multiple-windows-on-same-file-so-that-you-ca
but it can be done better and in more flexible way.

    Example of use case:

    Preconditions
    * User has at least two open workspace tabs
    * in first tab default "inbox" view
    * in second tab default "projects" view

    Main Goal
    * To sort tasks from inbox quickliy between projects

    Main scenario
    1. User go to Inbox tab
    2. User selects one of the tasks
    3. User drag selected task on Projects tab. Then Project tab opens and User now can see it's content
    5. User continue drag task inside of Projects tab to search desired…

  7. When I enter a new task on my Android phone, I would like to be able not only to assign a context but also to be able to make the task belong to one of my projects. Could you add a drop-down menu for that to the edit screen like the one to choose the context?

  8. I'd like to be able to see a kind of counter of active tasks that remain in particular tab. F.e. there are tabs I don't check everyday and I happened to miss few tasks just because I forgot to check some of tabs. It could be in a form of number that appears next to the tab name, or it could be that particular tab's background would get red, that's indifferent to me.

  9. I work in an environment of un-even work load. I snooze a lot of my reminders. Postponing it to the next day or to finish during lunch/dinner or after hours/late. Procrastinate for a few minutes to few hours. Every time I hit snooze, it is very time consuming to make a change. Especially, if I want to postpone a number of reminders/tasks due to some urgency.

I wish to have following group of radio buttons for snoozing:
Group #1: Minute / Hour / Day (right now it takes 1 more click to get radio buttons)
    Group #2: 0, 1, 2,…

  10. First of all, well done for the great new calendar view feature! I imagine that you have been thinking about how to improve this over subsequent versions. How about this...

    • Allow the user to mark a task as an event (a new property I suppose), and require at least a start date or end date to be set.

    • For a normal task, when the user sets a begin and end date on the same day, prompt the user whether to mark it as an event.

    • These kinds of "event" tasks should appear in the Calendar View listed under "my events",…

  11. I would like the possibility to postpone a task. I admit, this is an obvious danger for procrastinators, however, it is not so dangerous if we consider how it would be applied.

Most important, in my opinion, are tasks that are scheduled long in advance or recurring tasks with intervals of weeks, months or even years, because the situation can change over time allowing us to legitimately postpone a task. Otherwise these tasks will just be a distraction in our "Active Actions" view.

Individual tasks can have their due date modified, however, a postpone feature would arguably be most useful…

  12. The button to move a task is at the bottom of the form. This means that when the task has a long note (very common if coming from an email), the user has to scroll down A LOT just to find the move button

Just by simply moving the move botton at the top of the form, there would be a very big improvement imho in terms of usability anr productivity for those who use often the move task feature

  13. When organizing work flow or projects using folders there are times when you no longer need to see a folder in the outline view, but want to be able to have it visible later for reviews, or reuse of the hierarchy.

To do this, it would be useful if you could hide (and unhide) a folder, or a selected group of folders, with a) a check box function, and/or b) even better based on criteria like ' when empty ' or after 'such and such a date' and then be able to use a function that says 'make all hidden…

  14. Would be great to be able to add a phone number or contact link to a specific task. Would save a lot of time searching through contacts or typing numbers into the phone for appointment tasks in MLO.

  15. Add MLO to the iOS sharing menu so items can be sent from other apps as tasks to MLO.

This is an essential feature for any iOS task managing app.

  16. The ability to use MLO company-wide would be extremely useful, assigning tasks, add comments etc, very few productivity tools do not have this feature now, so I really think MLO is missing out on a huge market by not adding this feature

    1. On any given period = 2 Days. (where 2 can be set by user and period can be chosen from a list Days/Weeks/Months/Years.
    2. On some days of the week = user are presented with a list from Monday to Sunday. He can then tick the days he wants the task to recur.

The above ideas added to the recurring settings you already have will allow for almost all permutations of what a user may need for the recurring of his different tasks. (Add to this the On Completion idea mentioned in a different post!)

  17. I suggest new Importance and Urgency priority labels as follows (or, alternatively, the user ability to customize them).

Currently, the seven choices make assigning the appropriate one more difficult than necessary.

I suggest five options, instead (or even three) with corresponding label changes.

With five selection choices, I suggest:

    Highest
    Higher
    Normal
    Lower
    Lowest

    -or-

    Most
    More
    Normal
    Less
    Least

Highest or Most is the equivalent of Max, but those terms are consistent and the value more clearly relative to the other choices.

    Alternately, with three choices:

    High
    Normal
    Low

    -or-

    More
    Normal (or Norm)
    Less

    Of course, presently the…

  19. Almost all of my tasks have normal importance and urgency. I only assign non-normal values when tasks are particularly important/unimportant or particularly urgent/non-urgent.

Because I use the importance and urgency this way, when I add the importance and urgency columns to views, I see big long columns of "normal", and the non-normal values get lost in the columns, even with the color formatting helping to call them out. My eye doesn't need to see all those "normal"s; only the non-normal values.

I would like to be able to set MLO so that these columns only show values when the value…
