  1. Please add a Cost field and the ability to show the cumulative cost for a list of task, including negative costs. These could be summed up to Parent tasks, etc. The logic for this could also be used for a Time field, for resource leveling across tasks by start date.

  2. Develop a companion app for Wear OS and/or Fitbit OS smart watches, to go with MLO for Android (MLO for iOS had an Apple Watch companion since v3 - for over two years now!)

  3. At the moment, tasks with no due date always appear above tasks with due dates (all other things being equal. But this makes the whole concept of computed score pointless as a completely trivial task which doesn't ever really need doing (just a 'maybe one day...') gets placed above a vitally important work project which is due at the end of the month. I'm genuinely baffled as to how this was ever supposed to work.

One simple solution would be to allow adjustment of the weight given to "no due date", in the same way as we already have the…

  4. Currently in Android, one uses the "Add to Inbox" by clicking the button at either the left lower area (from main menu) or right lower area (promoted action), followed by clicking the left upper area, then typing, then either pressing Enter in the kb (the more efficient way), pressing the middle center button to parse and preview, or pressing "Save" at the extreme upper right area.

That is a LOT of finger/thumb travel and can be annoying for those using larger smartphones, especially considering how much more efficient the "Add New Task" button is. I therefore suggest making the "Add…

  5. Since the behavior of a task is so different (and useful) when it becomes a project, it would be nice to have a separate "add project" item on both MLO menus and hotkeys.

This could simply be a new task with the "project" property enabled, and optionally define min-effort so that % complete entirely depends on subtask completion

  6. Currently the BB gets a copy of the links in the notes but they are not active, nor can they be created on the BB. This feature would add this.

  8. MLO works pretty well under Wine, until we can get a native Linux version. But printing is a problem, as it depends on having parts of IE available. Please consider eliminating this dependency.

  9. have folders full of multimedia files in directory structure tree on disk. My task is to view/play/examine all files. Like to have functionality to 'point' to a directory, & have program traverse directory tree as mlo outline, placing 'leaf' files as entries with hyperlinks (in note field) for quick viewing and check-off

  10. When i want to focus on a task i press Control+R and get empty list
if there are no subtasks. But i would like to see the task i select
(with sub-tasks, if any). In case of project i would like to see the
project name too, as i have similar ones (they are created with one
template and sometimes it is difficult to guess what task i zoomed
    several minutes ago;) ).
So, summarizing, i would like to have Zoom with selected task in list
i.e. with one level up comparing to current behavior.

  11. In this view I can't view for which folder or project these tasks. I have many projects with repeating tasks. And when I see many tasks with one name and no info about parent it's confusing me.

  13. Most important is a Rapid Task Entry Widget (in addition a fairly customizable list widget should be there). Very appreciated would be dragging and droping a Task (into a folder or sth else) and keep the Properties as a Menu-Point for the Hardwarebutton (or customizable Behaviour in Settings with Touch Delays). Otherwise the MLO- Mainfeature (hierarchical Organization) isn't fully availible for Android, that would be a pity.
Another Thing is integration in Agenda Widget or other Stuff. Perhaps these Developers can be offered a little API for extracting list Information from the MLO Data.

The Design looks promising (i like…

  18. step 1) create two types of Context: LOCATION, PEOPLE

step 2) add two type of Goal: SPECIFIC DATE, SPECIFIC MEETING

step 3) create a calendar where days are rappresenting by two colums: one for location, one for people. tasks automatically appear here if they are 'goaled' for this day, and they are grouped by location and people. we can also drag&drop groups (location and people) inside their column, in order to organize schedules

  19. On my Android phone, some Apps have a quick entry option pop up from any program after long pressing the search button (then you choose the action you want from a menu). I like this as it lets me add a task to the inbox quickly from any program that I may be in and then get back to working in that other program.

While I like the Android widget and it does allow for a quick task entry, I have to be on that particular home screen to use it. I am hoping its function can be extended to…

  20. In outlook I frequently convert an email to a task (with email attached). It is something difficult to achieve in MLO. I would appreciate a button to be integrated in outlook to convert an email to a MLO task.
