Specify to which goal(s) is given task connected to. Not only declare a task as a goal.
It would be great to have a goal selection task property in MLO, so a task could belong to goal.

Increase computed score (priority) for all goals, not just weekly ones
I would like to see a boost assigned to monthly and yearly goals, not just weekly ones. Presently, I don't bother to assign anything longer than a weekly goal, for that reason. In other words, if I set a quarterly goal, I would like it to be higher in the pecking order than the rest. Obviously, week goals would be higher than quarterly goals.

Day switching option
Usually I filter my to-do list by day, to consider all the tasks of the current day. When I work on that list near midnight, at some point (namely at 0:00) all tasks for today in to-do view are replaced suddenly by tasks for tomorrow, even if I haven't finished with my tasks for "today".
It would be natural to have an option to shift "today-tomorrow" switching moment to 3AM or 6AM (or any other preferable time). Look at your TV-program: all events for a specific day are listed up to 6AM, because at midnight current day doesn't stop abruptly.

Prefix-Suffix AutoFormat addition
Current AutoFormat can only influence text formatting and icon addition. I suggest to add there a suffix-prefix option. So that I don't have to do it manually.
Examples: I could add 3 rules
- if Flag is "goal": add prefix "GOAL: " to the capture
- if Flag is "project": add suffix " ([number of subtasks] steps)"
- if Flag is "goal": add suffix " ([subtasks time count] left)"to get something like that:
"GOAL: plant a tree (2h 25min left)"

Make task notes accessible / editable from outside MLO...
...don't want to have to open up MLO every time I think of something I would like to add to the Task Notes for a particular to-do.

Add parsing of both due date and start date together
Please allow parsing of both due date and start date together. When I enter a new item, I often want to set both the due and start dates. At the moment, I can only do this by setting the due date (-d) and length (-l), which feels unintuitive and makes me have to stop for a moment to calculate the difference between my start and end dates.

Ability to assign a task to someone (name and optionally email address) + create automatic follow-up task
That would faciliate following up on tasks delegated to spmeone else...

Add popup alerts to Android or allow apps like Notifier Pro or Popup Plus to support snoozing
Popups similar to a calendar notification are vital for a todo app. Right now the only way to do it is to use another app. I don't mind doing this, but will all of them, when you hit snooze, the snoozed reminder that pops up no longer includes the text in the to do. Thanks, and I love your products! MLO 4 for Windows with the cloud is amazing!

improve the contrast
the new version of mlo (4.0) looks really poor when displayed on windows high contrast color schemes for people with vision limitations. my request is for mlo to pickup the system colors from windows (black background and green fonts, for example). I know the tasks and notes fonts can be changed but whatn I'm requesting is for the system menus to change.

ipad: allow more than one change to a task before saving
Currently if I have a filter set and then change a field in the task that would exclude it from the list I am unable to make further changes in the edit dialogue as the task disappears due to the filter. Feature should allow for various task changes before saving.

Lack or direct sync makes buying software not viable with no support in the future.

Allow reminders to be switched off for a set period
There are lots of situations where I want MLO open (to add new tasks, review what's there) but I don't want to see any reminders. For example:
•when doing presentations/workshops
•when trying to focus on something
•when talking to somebody on the phone
•when I switch on my computer for the first time having been away for a while and don't want to be bombarded with 20 reminders.So a an extra drop down like the 'Remind again in' drop down but headed 'Switch off reminders for:' in the Reminders window would be incredibly useful.

BB: Date entry and snooze functionality
Please look at Todo Matrix (Rexdesktop interface) for excellent ideas on how to quickly enter task due dates and reminder due dates (I love the "remind 1 hour before due").
The other excellent implementation which you could actually copy over to all the versions is the dialogue box that pops up when you hit the snooze button, that allows you to snooze anywhere from 5 minutes to 4 weeks in sensible increments. Nice for when you are in a meeting and want to be reminded in an hour, without having the phone beep every 5 minutes.

BB: Show task path in the task details dialogue box
On the desktop it is easy to see where a specific action fits in by looking at the path (especially if you do not want to write lots of text). e.g.
"chase Linda for contract docs" rather than chase "Linda for throughput extension documents for phase 2 meeting next week"Can you for the BB detailed task info put something in that shows the parent folder(s)?

Support link to TheBrain from notes field
The Brain (www.thebrain.com) is what it says, an application to organize your ideas. It can link to anything, and it would be nice for MLO to permit active return links in the notes field like so:
