Time needed calculation for selected tasks
When few tasks are selected I suggest to calculate Min and Max time needed to complete those and show it somewhere (status bar?).
Will help plan a week, not to have tasks for more than 8 hours/day.

In MLO5 it has been implemented ( somehow). The status bar calculates the total time mix- max of the tasks in the actual view (including their subtaks though, whether hidden or not, which I don't like a lot). Plus when a Project Time Mix Max, which sums up estimated time of all subtasks

Together with a feature that allows parent tasks to summarized the total time estimation of their subtasks it would be perfect

I'd really like to see this feature implemented. There have been some suggestions about gant charts and calendar views but I agree that the first implementation should be to show a sum of min and max time in the status bar for tasks that are selected. This would be the most flexible. It would also be nice to get that information for a To Do list as displayed, which is similar. The visible To Do list is the "selected tasks" unless some subset is selected.

Two things. IF it hasn't already been thought of, the best place to put this data would be in the summary bar of a 'group' in those views that are grouped. That way you could group your tasks by whatever criteria you like and see how much time it wil take to do them all.
Also, when you export a selection to spreadsheet .xml file, one of the cells actually has the totals for min time and max time, so something's working these things out already, we just need a place to put it. -

This would be really helpful! I hope it gets in soon. If you could just show a total for selected tasks that would be great!

This goes along with what I was suggesting about calculating time on recurring tasks. I also like the idea of being able to get accumulated times on the fly by selecting.

Would be an extremely helpful feature to calculate your workload for a certain period. This is the one feature that I miss most.

Would be a useful first step towards a planning function
