properties as a right click menu option
Instead of having to move the cursor over to the little control in the right sidebar to open the task properties, i suggest having a right menu click on the task open the properties sidebar.

Add global setting to have default for New Project to be Complete Subtasks in Order.
Have a global setting to have "Complete Subtasks in order" be the default for all new Projects. This would be very useful for allowing global use of tracking next actions in the tool, rather than setting it Project by Project.

Replace left/right swipe function (indentation) with left/right scrolling
Hi,
I have use MLO for some time & found that when the list grow larger, all the tasks tend to hide on the right side.
This have cause difficulty on navigation and editing.Even though there is a zoom function, but only individual tasks or tree can be zoomed in. This cause difficulty when working a cross different tasks that need to zoom in.
Since indentation can be done in MOVE mode. Left & right swipe should be used for scrolling purpose. This will create better user friendly interaction, better usability & consistent interface design with android.

Add the ability to upload a picture or document with a task
I have several tasks I create where it would be helpful to have a picture, pdf, doc or other attachment with it to help reference specifics about the task.

Please, add customizable "Contact" entity, like "Context" to MLO
Add to MLO Contacts - this will be great!
A trouble to use Contexts in this case is because every Contact has a couple of fieldslike phone, email and other additional information, how can I store it and how can I use it in To-Do list, for example?2 votes -

Enhance email reminder information: put in the parent project, at least.
The email reminder should be a stand-alone piece of information... and many tasks either have ambiguous information by themselves ("Call Bob".. the sales Bob or the developer Bob?) or have the same name as task in another project ("create function list").

Search as you type (like in Firefox, no Search field)
Of course this will only work when the Outline list has the focus AND the Outline list is not in edit-mode! This will NOT display the Search Results list, but instead will filter the Outline list itself according to the typed search term. The <Esc> key then exits the 'Search as you type' mode and again displays the whole Outline list without filtering.
This would be much more straightforward, faster and simpler!

sync conflicts: keep the newest based on the last modified time
It should be useful to have a third option for syncing items. Instead of choosing to keep local or server version of the item, keeping the last modified could be useful. The only thing to pay attention to is to have almost the same clock on android and on windows pc.

Add keyboard shortcut support: [Tab] for indent, [Shift] + [Tab] for outdent.
Or at least allow a user to use the [Tab] key, and [Tab] Key combinations in Tools > Options > Hotkeys.

Add gesture support on iPad
Swipe right is usually used for delete in iOS. I don't think we need to use it for indent except when we're in the manual sort mode.
It would be good to add a few other gestures to the interface :
Horizontal pinch to zoom.
Vertical pinch to insert an item? (Go Tasks has a good example).
Two-finger left/right swipe to expand/collapse the whole outline.
Two-finger swipe up/down to jump to top/bottom.By the way, the button for expand/collapse is confusing, because you've use the iOS standard export/send to button graphic.

Branch sync from Desktop to BlackBerry
Branch sync from Desktop to BlackBerry
In my MLO database I currently have 2,496 items, most of which have notes. Syncing all these to my BlackBerry is too much, the BB becomes unusable. I would like to sync only a single branch that currently has 384 items. Becuase MLO does not support branch sync to the BB I have to use seperate databases to make the MLO on BB usable, but splitting my entire set into multiple files makes MLO less useful on the desktop.2 votes -
Implement "points" for finishing a task. Kind of "Gamification".
Then the user could use the total weekly score to reward himself (or not).

This way the user could store additional metadata.
This could be done by enabling plugins in MLO.

link the importance level of each task to its position in the outline so that we can assign importance relative to the other tasks
It would be great to be able to arrange the outline by importance so that we could increase or decrease the importance of each task by moving it up or down in comparison to its sibling tasks. We need to know the importance of each task relative to other tasks in order to know which task to work on, so we need to be able to assign relative importance within a group. We should have the option of having the importance level of each task adjust when sibling tasks are added or removed.

New setting for task/folder: automatic context inheritance
Currently this setting is global. But it could be useful to set some folders as donors of contexts for containing tasks. And also it would be useful to have an option to add/merge parent contexts to children, but not only replace.

Active URL links in the IOS device
I use the desktop version and I sync with my Iphone. If I type a URL such as www.yahoo.com on the destop, it automatically becomes a "hot" link. However, when that note syncs with the Iphone, I see the text www.yahoo.com in the notes on the Iphone but I cannot click on it.It is not active there.

Have separate icon for projects
Currently the checkbox icon is the same for both tasks and projects.. Having a separate icon would make projects stand out better in the outline view..

Support USB sync for Android to PC
At work, the only way to connect my Android devices to the PC that is the main task repository is via USB. As you already appear to support Black Berry sync via USB, could you please extend this to Android?

iPad & iPhone: Change Date and Time Selection
I want date selection to be done through rectangular month calendar widget instead of through the wheel. This would allow date to be selected quickly with one touch like in MLO Windows desktop without having to scroll up and down through the wheel, which is a pain. Additionally the wheel does not even show day of the week until you also enable time selection, which is so counter intuitive!
Similarly, the time selection should be simple Hour and Minute fields with number keypad again avoiding the painful wheel.
