++ OPML would be useful for other things as well - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPML

@Tom, and replace them with compatibility issues between a panoply of web browsers :-p

(esp. if you want the webapp to be anything near as fast and comprehensive as the on-computer app)

Would love this, but just saying :-)

@Rhys, With default settings the user is prompted in the case where there are conflicting versions of a task due to forgetfulness or whatever, so your overwrite fear is unfounded.

I'd love this, but IMHO we need to figure out a proposal for this that wouldn't bleed revenue sources needed to keep people who actually work on MLO full-time employed.

@Roy - You can already sync to google calendar in a sort of roundabout way - MLO to Outlook to Google Apps Sync (so you need a paid Google account), but then you'll get to sync your MLO tasks with Google Tasks, so dated tasks will show up the same way dated Google Tasks do.

That said, yeah, any kind of supported, non-weird-configuration don't-have-to-pay-more-money (Outlook's not free either ;-) calendar overview anywhere would be pretty sweet.

I wish that negative voting was allowed, because I would view this as an ANTIFEATURE - I think MLO should focus on making their cloud sync as good as possible, and not waste time on this; it's not what Dropbox was designed to do, and it can't be good at it, esp. for the case of >2 devices or certain usage patterns; for the product that holds and controls my life, I don't want something that will "probably work, most of the time".

It's not like users really gain a lot by this being "free"; the money MLO would lose on cloud sync licenses plus the programmer hours expended would mean less time and money to work on features that can help all of our productivity.

I'm constantly amazed at how annoyed people get with apps that cost over say $5 or internet services that cost more than $0 these days; if MLO can implement a feature that saves you 10 seconds a day, that's 10 seconds * 365 days = 3650 seconds = a bit more than an hour. I'd wager most people who use MLO make more than $14.95 an hour.
