have tabs in To-Do view to allow quick switching between filtered views

I would love to see tabs developed. I found the interface of FusionDesk (http://img.brothersoft.com/screenshots/softimage/f/fusiondesk_pro-55258-1234508843.jpeg) to be the best of all task management systems, but it had nowhere near the functionality of MLO. But combining the looks and usefulness of FusionDesk's tabs with the power of MLO would be amazing!

(I think this goes pretty well with the shortcut keys)

Tabs in Outline (different Zooms, Tab-Mouse-waiting-Drag and Drop) and Todo Views are ("hopefully") the future..

I don't really care about the tabs, but I do care about the filtering as Djs pointed out at http://mlo.uservoice.com/forums/9235-general/suggestions/1044979-outline-filtering. So I am giving 3 votes to each....

I wanted to mention a specific implementation detail.
It would be great to implement this as simply "multiple To-Do" tabs.
They would only need to be: 1) Nameable, 2) Each remember their default selections, 3) PERHAPS provide a "lock filter" checkbox to prevent accidental changes to a tab's filter.

I really do like this idea. The idea leaves the user with the experience of working with multiple files. For example, I have used a personal tree that includes a whole branch dedicated to work. If I had a dedicated tab for that work branch, the experience would be like hopping back and forth between work and personal life without running multiple instances. It helps keep the views managed for users who are not quite hotkey-comfortable.

Hmmm, I have quite a number of filters setup and simply use hotkeys to quickly switch between filter views, but I suppose tabs wouldn't be bad either.

Tabbed interface appears to have been accepted in the recent product roadmap

This functionality would provide the same attributes as tabs in a web browser e.g. group tabs in "sessions" which can be saved, tab formatting, draggable tabs, duplicate tabs etc.
