3 months goals
most my goals are made in 3 or 6 months, there is no option like that in goals panel, this way is completly usless for me, only 1 week, 1 month, and 1 year?, please please please add option for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, that would be amazing!

Notes in separate window
I would like to make better use of MLO Task Notes. A very valuable enhancement would be to allow it to "pop out" into a separate window. Ideally the user could control whether it is always on top of other windows (allowing me to take notes while working on a PowerPoint, for example, or while reading am email).

highlight color set shold be extended
Please have a look on "Format" panel. It allows to change colors, fonts and so on.
Why set of colors for "Highlight color" is so small? In reality only yellow, green and light-blue can be used. Others too light or too dark. So, please make it look like "Side bar color" at least - with tens of colors to choose available.
It is very inconvenient to use "More...." option to change item backgroud color on pink (for example) every time. to be honest, side bar color is too small to be noticed and thus to be used.4 votes -

I type and edit mainly in MS word.

iPhone: Ability to add photo to task
Several iPhone apps (e.g., address book apps, notes apps, even a few other todo apps) offer the ability to add a photo (either by bringing up the camera app or by inserting an existing photo from the iphone "camera roll"). Don't know how hard this would be or whether there might even be a standard iOS procedure that could be called, but it would be quite useful to be able to attach a photo to a task. Example use case:
Task: "Need to buy more of these" (with a picture attached)
Task: "Distribute whiteboard notes (picture of whiteboard attached)4 votes -
Android and Win: "include closed" checkbox more accessible
Make the 'include closed' tick box more accessible please.
I use the concept of open and closed both for the way it's intended but also to hide certain 'lower priority' or 'clutter' items from my views. I do this by assigning certain items to a context that is always closed or closed only during business hours.
By toggling the 'include closed' checkbox I can quickly hide/view these items.
On Windows it's not too difficult (though i do like to keep that slide closed so I have to open it first).

Copy/paste the format
Similar to the "format painter" in the MS Office suite: if you have several tasks which you want to have a similar formatting, now you have to go through 2-3 tabs for each of them (font/background/highlight), with lots of options, you need then to find the "right" color and set of options.
It would be a time-saver to be able to select a task, copy its format and then paste it over a next one (or folder). This formatting might be applied arbitrary, so it's not like all folders should be set in one step, which is possible now.

Richer View (Color and Font Sizes) on PC Application -- and Web Enabled View Also
I like working on my Computers because I can navigate fast and see the whole Picture.. But the fonts are too small to read and there is No Color and Comfy Formatting ... This really can improve.
I also feel a Web Based Access to the Files would be helpful, as a minimum for Cloud Synch/Hosted Files. I use the Tracks Application and it has some nice Formatting and Web Actions that would halp MLO.

Collect voices notes and photos in MLO Android like "catch" or "evernote" widgets
I've a suggestion for Android MLO. It's simple: Add functionality for collect voices notes and photos from the mobile in inbox, like "catch" and "evernote" widgets do it.
I use to collect "stuff" in this way and it could be easy to implement. With this, you can collect all kind of things in MLO in your mobile.

Add FTP sync for IPhone and IPad MLO
At the moment it is possible to sync the IPhone and IPad MLO with WiFi or MLO Cloud service. I would like to sync my data with FTP service the same like MLO Desktop. I am not willing to spend money for the MLO Cloud service.

Add keyboard shortcut support: [Enter] for new task, [Shift] + [Enter] for new child task.
Or at least allow a user to use the [Enter] key, and [Enter] Key combinations in Tools > Options > Hotkeys.

Motivational- Something that brings you back to MLO
With me it's always up and down when it comes to using MLO. I know it's best to use it daily.
One could think of reminder e-mails, but that does not work for me.
What works for me (it's applied in a memory training app that I use) is the fact that I get points for each day in a row that you use the application. So you make it your pride to get this number as high as possible and this really works. I make series of days in a row that are far longer then I did before.…4 votes -
Support creating rules for auto-setting task properties
When creating tasks the thing that slows me down the most is setting its properties (contexts, due date, etc). I would guess on average I'd be creating most tasks twice as fast, if there was a way to auto set properties.
For example, I leave an urgent message for a colleague. I need a question to be answered today. The task I'd probably create would have the subject, "Urgent: WaitingFor colleague's answer to question". I'd then set the context to @WaitingFor and the due date to today.

create new date and time entry methods for MLO Android.
Date and time entry on MLO Android is a little awkward as you use standard Android time/date fields, often entering time and date on separate pages.
I'd like to see an Astrid/ToDoMatrix style page with a calendar along with some defined buttons (today/tomorrow/next ***) plus time entry fields.4 votes
