An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Vargo commentedI have been watching the "calendar" debate for a few years now. I am convinced that many users voting for the "calendar" feature really do not understand what it is that they want from such a view. Many of those voters are really desiring more of a planning tool, such as a Gantt chart, rather than an actual calendar;and those should consider shifting their votes to this Gantt feature instead.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Vargo commentedI also use OneNote very intensively. I keep tasks and reminders in MLO, but I keep other information in OneNote, especially if a photo or other type of attachment is of benefit, or for web clippings. On Android, I use "Catch" for these same purposes.
I fully agree with Fernando, that MLO cannot be a substitute for OneNote (and I wouldn't want it to), the same way that OneNote could never be a substitute for MLO -- so indeed integrating the two would be a fantastic solution, especially if they could cross-link to one another!

I am voting for the API part of this idea. I've suggested this on the forums years ago, but there are even FAR more services that could leverage an MLO API now than existed then. Much free publicity could be generated just through being on the list of task management apps supported by these services. Keep in mind that many competing apps are already listed, and enjoying that free advertising!
