Bug in group by 'Top Level Parent'/ 'Parent' (MLO Windows)
Found in version: 4.3.1
Preconditions:
* There should be at least 3 level hierarchy of tasksSteps to reproduce:
* Create new workspase (or choose existing). The list of tasks should be displayed.
* Choose 'Group by..'
* Pick 'Top Level Parent'Actual grouping in this case will be performed by 'Parent', not by 'Top Level Parent'. In case if 'Parent' was chosen, actual groupping will be performed by a top level parent =)
Though it isn't a big deal, could it be fixed, please?

iPhone: colored flags
I use flags extensively in MLO for Windows to classify types of tasks. Not having them on the iPhone makes the app almost unusable for me, as the classification is lost.
If/when you add them, It would be great then to include them among the filters used for building the customised views that you are currently testing.
Thank you.

Support location-based notifications on the iPhone using iOS geofencing
At present, MLO iPhone (1.4.0.1761.2) allows locations to be added to contexts. It also has a 'Nearby' ToDo view, which will look for active tasks by their context location, and show those that are closest.
However, this still means that unless you actually open MLO and tap on the 'Nearby' icon, you cannot be alerted when you're close to a particular context. What would be even more useful, is if the iPhone can actually alert you when you pass by, arrive at, or leave, a location.
iOS 5+ supports this feature, called geofencing. The idea, is that when a user…

Lock a tabbed workspace to a specific view
MLO 4.0 has implemented a tabbed view and includes a command to set a particular view as default for a tab. Once the default is set, the user can quickly and easily reset the workspace back to the default view. The release did not implement view locking, which would allow the user to say that this workspace should never change its view, and ask MLO to prevent it from changing.
Why do we need a lock if we already have the default? Even if you want a tab to remain unchanged, it is very easy to change it by mistake…

Add option for disabling progress bar in outline view
The progress bar for projects added to the outline view in version 4 can be useful. However, it makes it impossible to use highlighting colors on projects (I rely very much on highlighting to classify my projects visually). Also it can have very distractive effects when trying to navigate the outline view.
Users shgould be able to choose whether they want the progress displayed in the outline view or not.

ipad: Allow smart filters
The current filters are not flexible enough to allow for my system. Customization should be as flexible as desktop version.

android : adapt the android version for tablets (something like the ipad app)
Current app is build obviously for phones and despite the android feature to adapt the app to the screen size, it is not very usable. I would suggest adapting the app' to use all the available screen size (design of the ipad version seems quite nice)
Thanks

Toolbar
I would love a toolbar with icons for commonly-used menu items -- so I can simply click the button rather than drill down through the menu options (e.g. save, undo, redo).
Maybe this request has been posted already, but I couldn't find it...1 vote -
iPad: add "Undo" button
Add "Undo" button to iPad UI so that a mistake can be undone. Same function as the one available in the Windows version.

Allow completed tasks to be archived after 1 day
I like the way archiving completed tasks is set up. However, I'd like an option for "1 day". Presently, the shortest length is to archive completed tasks after FIVE days, which results in a lot of unnecessary completed tasks in my files.

Have an option to auto-save upon changing files
Presently, if I switch to another MLO file, it asks if I want to save. Working fast, there is a risk that I don't save it. Also, it's an extra step. I'd like the ability to have it auto-save the file when I switch files.

Need option to use smaller font on iphone.
I have hundreds of items in MLO. Need to take advantage of the limited room on the display by using smaller font. This it one of the main disadvantages of the iphone app.

Add a Review feature
Without built-in support for a review process, some items stagnate, using views and filters in MLO to carry out a review can be a complex and frustrating undertaking, and that you don't know what has been reviewed and what hasn't.
The review process would be similar to adding reminders, but not intrusive. After talking to a friend who uses OmniFocus, this is the review process I have in mind:
- A new "review" view would be added to the app.
- When you add/process a new task, you set a review frequency (similar to setting up a recurring task--e.g., "second Monday of…

please add the option to periodically sync with the MLO cloud
Would be great to have some options to sync automatically with the MLO cloud account.
1.) Sync when starting the program, so you must not remember by yourself and you are sure to have the newest data
2.')Sync when leaving the program, to be sure that all changes will be mirrored at the MLO cloud
3.) Sync in periodical time frames (e.g. every hour)1 voteimplemented in MLO v4

Make custom views available via the cloud, to Android, iPhone, etc.
Custom views allow us great precision in seeing our data. For those of us who are using custom views, the 'canned' views available on the android and iphone are near-useless in comparison. Instead of many possible views on the android screen, none of which are very useful, how much more functional it would be to be able to import custom views via the cloud, and choose which views we would like displayed on the android or iphone main screen.

mark a task as notes, so we dont accidentally "complete" it.
This feature request is similar to "folder" where you mark a task as folder and a folder icon replaced the checkbox.
I request for a similar option to mark a task as "Note".
MLO is perfect to be used as a note tracking/organising tool as it has endless tree branched and folder option + mobile app & sync to complement it.
A perfect fit for storing and carrying notes, EVERYWHERE~!
