  1. Dont know whether this is a bug or "features"... -.-

All the "Parents" with Due Date aren't shown in "Due next 7 Days" or
    "Due next 30 Days".....
Only tasks WITHOUT subtask is shown.

Note: "Parents" means all the parents which have subtasks within it.

  2. In 90% cases I open task to add/edit its notes. I struggle to every time scroll down to the bottom of edit task screen for that.

Would be great to streamline UI to better accommodate a scenario like mine.

  3. step 1) create two types of Context: LOCATION, PEOPLE

step 2) add two type of Goal: SPECIFIC DATE, SPECIFIC MEETING

step 3) create a calendar where days are rappresenting by two colums: one for location, one for people. tasks automatically appear here if they are 'goaled' for this day, and they are grouped by location and people. we can also drag&drop groups (location and people) inside their column, in order to organize schedules

  4. Configure if new subtask will be @ top or @ botton of list. Also sorting by date, a-z etc. would be nice.

  5. We could save a couple presses by making the fields in the Task Info screen pressable, which would bring up a dialog to edit that field.

  6. When viewing the task list, it would be nice to be able to press the date and context, which would bring up a dialog for changing the date or context. Right now it takes 5 clicks to change the date or context.

PalmOS has this functionality it its tasks application.

  9. At present, indicating dependencies seems to only hide dependent items from the to-do view, without taking into account the urgency, importance, etc. of the dependent item.

It's possible to work around this, but there should be an option to make a dependency behave like a parent-child relationship so that dependent items are ranked correctly in the to-do list.

  10. In outlook I frequently convert an email to a task (with email attached). It is something difficult to achieve in MLO. I would appreciate a button to be integrated in outlook to convert an email to a MLO task.

  11. On my Android phone, some Apps have a quick entry option pop up from any program after long pressing the search button (then you choose the action you want from a menu). I like this as it lets me add a task to the inbox quickly from any program that I may be in and then get back to working in that other program.

While I like the Android widget and it does allow for a quick task entry, I have to be on that particular home screen to use it. I am hoping its function can be extended to…

  12. Very tough to find what needed on the Android without a search function. Especially when the list of tasks and projects is large. This is a very needed function.

  13. An option, in addition to start & due date, to setup a follow-up date. A frequent requirement in fostering positive client relationship. Could be either by date, or in X months.

  15. Did you think about the possibility to integrate a small database in MLO for example for adress data or personal datas which are connected to a task and can be can exported to a list.

For example you create a new task. Than you have the chance to integrate serveral fields with informations. These informations are stored in a database which an exported for example to excel.

If someone has got a solution which exists today please let me know.

    Best regards

    Karl

  16. I often ACCIDENTALLY mark tasks as completed by pressing the spacebar in response to windows screensaver. Please add an option that will allow the spacebar task completion to be disabled.

  18. In evernote, the outline appears in a side pane and when you are sitting on a specific item in the outline, all the items which are 'inside' that item in the outline, display in the main window. Because of this screen layout, it's extremely easy to drag and drop an item into a different point in the outline. In comparison to Evernote's ease of use here, MLO is very time consuming and 'futzy' to use. Please give us easy drag and drop like Evernote's!
